The baskets shown in the picture are from Annie O Crafts and are made with rope.
The pattern is very easy and can also be done with our shirt yarn, you need about one ball. These basket are great for some home deco and you can make them in every color you desire and as big and as high as you would like.
They are very nice on the side of the nursery, for balls of wool, magazines, as a wastebasket in the office, toys, you name it. If you put in a glass vase, then you can also put flowers in.

Still on the run, searching for free patterns made with Zpagetti t-shirt yarn, which you can buy here, I stumbled upon this great doily rug pattern. This pattern is from Creative Jewish Mom
Actually you can use every doily pattern you can find and when you make it with Zpagetti t-shirt yarn, it will become a rug, because you’ll use bulky yarn and a thick crochet needle.
Cast on 12 stitches and knit 35 needles in garter stitch, but at one side of your work you slip the first stitch when you start the needle. After 35 needles cast of the stitches
Pick up 40 stitches at the opposite side of where you slipped the first stitch
1 row knit
2 row purl
3 row knit
4 row purl
5 row knit
6 row cast of in purl
Close the sides of the bell and pick up the stitches you slipped and pull them together.
Make another bell, gether the bells with the ribbon and put the bells inside.
It’s getting colder and because this is an old post of mine and so many people like it I had to put it on top again.
To make this cowl I used two skeins Ribbon Xl from Hoooked, which you can buy here. I love the ribbon XL because it’s made from recycled cotton and because it’s cotton it doesn’t itch and is not to warm, but feel free to use any other kind of material that matches knitting needles size 17
Cast on 40 stitches en work in garter stitch, the width of the work has to measure aprox 16 inches. Than work in garter stitch till the work measures aprox 36 inches and cast of the stitches.
Put your work flat on the table and give it a twist, like shown in the pictures and close the short sides with an overhand stitch
You can wear it in different kind of styles
If you have any questions feel free to send me a message

A few weeks ago, I started with this crochet umbrella, now I’m half way there. I did about 45 rows and there are 20 more to come, but because the rows are getting longer and longer I’m half way there! There will come two more roses in each part. One rose and a butterfly are already finished. When I finish the umbrella, I will make the pattern available for those who like to crochet. The finished umbrella will be for sale in my Etsy shop.
A view months ago I started this project, but I made a mistake in the beginning and ended up with 7 part but every umbrella has 8 parts. I have been looking on the internet for an umbrella with 7 parts but I gave up. It took me some time to get over it but, last week I started over and this is a picture from the work in progress. I think it will take me a couple of weeks to finish it and when it’s finished, I will publish the pattern and the umbrella, which is great for a wedding, will be for sale:)
